Thomas G. Pfeifer 83 of Bartonville passed away at Unity Point Methodist in Peoria on January 27, 2018.
He was born to Ralph J. and Mildred C. (Worth) Pfeifer on September 25, 1934 in New Holland IL.
He married Marianne Schlis on February 9, 1963 in Peoria she survives.
After graduating high school Thomas went on to enlist in the United States Army and served in Germany.

Thomas G. Pfeifer 83 of Bartonville passed away at Unity Point Methodist in Peoria on January 27, 2018.
He was born to Ralph J. and Mildred C. (Worth) Pfeifer on September 25, 1934 in New Holland IL.
He married Marianne Schlis on February 9, 1963 in Peoria she survives.
After graduating high school Thomas went on to enlist in the United States Army and served in Germany.
Thomas was Head of Maintenance at Monroe School in Bartonville, retiring July 1, 1998. He was always willing to go above and beyond his job duties. Previously he worked in the shipping department at Pabst Brewery. He bowled in several Peoria area bowling leagues, and was a member of St Jude's Knights of Columbus in Peoria. He volunteered his time to coach little league baseball at Limestone for 17 years, and also Limestone Biddy Basketball for 7 years. He was also an avid Cubs fan, golfer, enjoyed gardening and had a true green thumb, was an animal lover of all kinds especially his dogs, loved going to his granddaughters activities, was always offering a helping hand to anyone in need, and was thankful for his family vacations especially going to Lake of the Ozarks.
Surviving are three sons; Timothy (Cinnamon) Pfeifer of Pekin, Darryl Pfeifer of Peoria, and Kevin Pfeifer of West Peoria. Two grandchildren; two brothers; William (Sharon) Pfeifer both of Peoria, and John (Sheila) Pfeifer of Princeville; one sister; and Sally (Lewis) Vanderheiden of Manito, IL.
Thomas was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
He was a long time member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, and their Men's Club.
A visitation will be Thursday February 1, 2018 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Davison Fulton Bartonville Chapel.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St Ann's Catholic Church on Friday February 2 11:00 a.m. with a visitation held an hour prior.
Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Peoria.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made out to St. Ann's Catholic Church, Unity Point Hospice, or Alzheimer's Association.
