Thelburn "TV" Knepp, 95, of Peoria died at 12:30 pm Thursday, November 24, 2016 at Rosewood Care Center.
He was born September 3, 1921 in New Lancaster, Kansas, the son of Henry A. and Leona V. Frost Knepp. He first married Ruth E. Howell in Princeton, November 27, 1944. She preceded him in death August 22, 1991. He then married Evelyn "Irene" St. John in Peoria September 5, 1992. She survives.
Also surviving is one son, Duane (Kathy) Knepp of Rutland; one step-son, Ronald (Karen) Small of Wheaton; one step-daughter, Eileen (Michael) McGarry of...

He was born September 3, 1921 in New Lancaster, Kansas, the son of Henry A. and Leona V. Frost Knepp. He first married Ruth E. Howell in Princeton, November 27, 1944. She preceded him in death August 22, 1991. He then married Evelyn "Irene" St. John in Peoria September 5, 1992. She survives.
Also surviving is one son, Duane (Kathy) Knepp of Rutland; one step-son, Ronald (Karen) Small of Wheaton; one step-daughter, Eileen (Michael) McGarry of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and four grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
He is also preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers.
Thelburn was an Overhead Crane Operator for Caterpillar Inc. retiring October 1, 1982.
He was a WWII Army Veteran in the 89th Infantry Division serving in France and Germany under General Patton's Third Army, and a member of United Auto Workers Local #974.
Thelburn was a member of Faith Missionary Church in Bartonville and a former member of First Presbyterian Church in Pottstown where he served as a Deacon and Head Usher.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 28, 2016 at 11:00 am at Faith Missionary Church with Rev. Craig Hislope officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 -7:00 pm Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel and one hour prior to services at his church.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
