Glen Oesterle, age 75, of Hanna City, passed away on March 29, 2015 at his home.
Glen was born on April 5, 1939 in Peoria to George and Pearl (Dugard) Oesterle. He was married to Carol Keys and she preceded him in death in 2001.
Surviving are his children, Lyn (Jess) Olenski of Wisconsin, Kathy Hawkins of Chatham, IL, and Gary Oesterle of Pearia, IL; his daughter-in-law, Sandy Oesterle of Glasford, IL; eight grandchildren, Stacey, Alisha, Dustin, Greg, Taylor, Aleka, Austin and Gavin; eight great-grandchildren; his brother, Frank (Elaine) Mauk of Charleston, IN; his sister,...

Glen was born on April 5, 1939 in Peoria to George and Pearl (Dugard) Oesterle. He was married to Carol Keys and she preceded him in death in 2001.
Surviving are his children, Lyn (Jess) Olenski of Wisconsin, Kathy Hawkins of Chatham, IL, and Gary Oesterle of Pearia, IL; his daughter-in-law, Sandy Oesterle of Glasford, IL; eight grandchildren, Stacey, Alisha, Dustin, Greg, Taylor, Aleka, Austin and Gavin; eight great-grandchildren; his brother, Frank (Elaine) Mauk of Charleston, IN; his sister, Judy (Wally) Zukas of Marion, IL and his close friends, Sharon and Donny Lovelady. He was preceded in death by his wife; one son, Gregory; one granddaughter, Chelsea; and his parents.
Glen owned Glen's Auto Body in Bellevue, which he opened in 1977. He also co-owned Country Relics with the Loveladys. Glen was a member of the Bartonville American Legion and the Hanna City Sportsman Club and he enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening and riding his Harley.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a memorial visitation will be held on Friday, April 3, 2015 from 4pm to 8pm at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following the visitation at the Bartonville American Legion. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Peoria to Memphis Ride.
